Neck Exercises are the best way to strengthen the muscles in the neck. In the section on stretches I showed you ways to increase your mobility and flexibility. Now I want to discuss a system of movements that will strengthen the soft tissues around the painful immobilized neck area. I will give you a unique program that will help make your neck stronger by balancing the supportive muscles which will also improve your posture.

These exercises for neck strengthening are called Isometric Exercises. This is a type of movement in which the muscle contracts (shortens) but the joint does not move. In simple terms this means that in isometric training the muscle contracts but the length of the muscle does not change. This is the same sensation you would have if you were trying to push a car but it did not budge. Isometric training for neck pain is very safe and as you continue following this program you will see how quickly your condition will improve and how your neck will become stronger through exercise.

Following my program correctly can prevent arthritis and degeneration in the neck joints from getting worse. If you have gone past the first few weeks of a whiplash injury and your neck has become weak you will benefit tremendously from the strengthening exercise program for the neck I will show you in the video tutorial.
