Injuring or misusing the shoulder joint can result in extreme shoulder pain. Your shoulder joint is one of the most delicate joints in the body. The unique design of the shoulder allows it to move in many directions. However, if you ever bugger it, look out, shoulder joint pain can become your life long companion.

What makes the shoulder so special is that the joint is primarily held together by muscles, ligaments and tendons criss-crossing from various directions, hinging the mid back, the blade and arm together. Any injury, trauma, abuse or misuse to this region can easily begin a cycle of shoulder joint pain. By now you know I am an advocate for exercises, but exercises to reduce pain in the shoulder joint require finesse and attention. Frequently, my clients who have a problem in this joint begin to limit the movement and the use of their joint. In turn, the muscles go weak very fast and they can no longer lift or carry objects, making the joint even weaker.
